The 2016 Spring children programs are now seeds planted in the children`s hearts. For the last three months we held weekly programs for the children in Sighișoara, Daneș and Hoghilag. In the same time, children programs  were held in Valea Rece and Gornești by a partnering local church.

Beside the Metro staff, we involved a group of young volunteers to help; most of them came week by week to work with us for the blessing of the little kids. Teo, Andreea, Adi, Claudel, Cătălin, Ștefi, Suzy, Nicu, Darius, Ramona and Paul, from our community, and Cristina, Raluca and Sanda, from Daneș, are deserve appreciation and encouragement for their efforts and dedication.

On this Spring, the main challenge was the weather. The heavy rains and T-storms didn`t allowed us to hold some outdoor programs in villages. Still, the kids were happy to see us each time and even enjoyed more the time we could have with them when the weather was fine.

As usual, here are some quick facts about this spring with the SideWalk Sunday School program:

Programs held: 12

Attendance  (an average per site; kids, teenagers and adults):

* Goldberich – 56 (the number of the little kids increased from 36 to 41: some new kids came at the programs)

* Daneș – 50 (also growing, from 37 on last spring)

* Hoghilag – 36 (here the weather factor was affecting the attendance significantly)

* Valea Rece – 30

* Gornești – 40

The most disciplined kids over those last three months of the program will participate in the ”Live a Clean Life” camp in Râu Sadului, on 20-23 July 2016. The adventure goes on!
